Labsphere offers a variety of services including:

CALIBRATION SERVICES

Regular maintenance and calibration of your Labsphere system or standard is essential to ensure optimum performance and may be necessary depending on your own QMS and ISO accreditations. Once calibrated, systems and standards are returned with calibration certificates and sealed with a label indicating the date of calibration. All optical calibrations are performed in our state-of-the-art Calibration Laboratory and are traceable to NIST reference standards.  Our diffuse reflectance calibrations of Labsphere’s Spectralon Standards are also traceable to NIST reference standards and are also IS 17025 accredited through NVLAP Lab Code 200951-0.   Please contact our Service department for additional details, or select a link below to access the data sheet for each calibration category. 

CALIBRATIONS for LIGHT MEASUREMENT SYSTEMS

Calibrated Lamps

For: LED and Lamp Measurement Systems

Calibration Types:

  • Spectral Flux Standards and Standard Sets (SCL-/CSFS): 350 - 1050 nm, 10 nm increments
  • Luminous Flux Standards and Standard Sets (CL-/CLFS-)

Available Lamp Sizes:

  • 50 lumen:4.4 W Subminiature Krypton Lamp, Bi-pin base, nominal output
  • 600 lumen:35 W Tungsten-Halogen lamp, SC bayonet base, nominal output
  • 1400 lumen:75 W Tungsten-Halogen lamp, Min screw base, nominal output

Responsivity Calibrations

For: Laser, Laser Diode, or Fiber Illuminator Measurement Systems

  • Single Wavelength Radiant Flux (SCC-PS): Radiant flux responsivity at a single wavelength for a narrow band source, offered from 300 to 2400 nm
  • Multiple Wavelength Radiant Flux (SCC-PM): Radiant flux responsivity at multiple wavelengths for diverse narrow band sources, options dependant on type of detector
  • Luminous Flux Responsivity (SCC-LF)

CALIBRATIONS for L/R UNIFORM SOURCE SYSTEMS

  • Luminance Responsivity (SCC-LU)
  • Spectral Radiance Measurement (USC-SR): 300 - 2400 nm in variable increments
  • Illuminance Responsivity (SCC-IL)
  • Photopic Mapping (USC-PM)
  • Radiance Responsivity (SCC-RA): Custom calibration for a specified spectral band

CALIBRATIONS for REFLECTANCE & TRANSMITTANCE MEASUREMENT SYSTEMS

For UV-VIS-NIR:

  • Hemispherical Reflectance Calibrations (at 8º/Hemispherical Geometry)
  • Diffuse Reflectance (DRC): 250 - 2500 nm, 50 nm increments
  • Color Reflectance (CRS): 360 - 830 nm, 10 nm increments
  • Specular Reflectance (SRC): 250 - 2500 nm, 50 nm increments

For Visible:

  • Bidirectional Reflectance Calibrations (at 0º/45º Geometry)
  • Special Reflectance (SR045): 380 - 770 nm, 10 nm increments
  • Special Color Reflectance (SRC045): 380 - 770 nm, 10 nm increments

For Infrared:
For Transmittance:

  • Transmittance Calibrations (at 0º/Hemispherical Geometry)
  • Total Transmittance (STC): 250 - 2500 nm, 50 nm increments
